The Kot Radha Kishan incident has made the nation's head bow in shame, says Sarwar

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar on Thursday has said that Dr Tahirul Qadri is not a threat and relations with him are normal which is why he did not go to the Allama Iqbal International Airport to receive him.

He expressed these views while talking to the media after meeting spiritual leader of Muslim League (Functional) Pir Sahib Pagara in Karachi.

He said that if Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan is allowed to hold a rally in Sindh then he must also be allowed to hold it in Islamabad.

Governor Punjab said that nobody should have a stubborn behaviour in politics.

He also met the leaders of Pakistan Hindu Council during his visit to Karachi.

Unfortunately, he said, the minorities are victims of insecurity in the country and that the Kot Radha Kishan incident has made the nation’s head bow in shame.

Answering a question, he said that relations with Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri are normal and that is why he is in Lahore and Governor Punjab was in Karachi.
