ATC grants bail to PTI worker Mirza Adeel
Mirza Adeel got arrested from Rahim yar Khan and was detained in 3 cases including attack on PTV.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Judge of Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Justice Kauser Abbas zaidi granted bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) worker Mirza Adeel Baig on Thursday.
PTI worker Mirza Adeel who got arrested from Rahim Yar Khan was detained in 3 cases including attack on Pakistan Television (PTV) and Parliament House. Court granted bail to him after hearing out the arguments.
Mirza Adeel’s bail has been approved against bail bonds worth 5 million each.
Earlier, Arrest warrants of PTI chairman Imran Khan, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri and other key leaders were issued on Wednesday in attack on PTV building case.
According to state-run TV, Islamabad’s anti-terrorism court issued arrest warrants against Imran Khan, Tahirul Qadri, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervaiz Khattak, PTI lawmaker Asad Umar and PAT leader Raheeq Abbasi in cases regarding attacks on parliament and PTV building during sit-in protests in Islamabad.
The cases against the accused are registered in Islamabad’s Secretariat Police Station.
A violent mob had attacked the buildings of parliament and PTV in a clash with the police in August.
