Justice Jawad S Khwaja takes oath as acting SC CJ

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Justice Jawad S Khawaja has taken oath as acting Chief Justice of Pakistan on Saturday, Dunya News reported.
Justice Saqib Nisar administered oath to him at a ceremony in Islamabad. Senior judges of the apex court and lawyer attended the oath-taking ceremony.
It is pertinent to mention here that a delegation led by Chief Justice of Pakistan Nasirul Mulk left Pakistan for an official visit to South Korea from October 31 to November 10.
President Mamnoon Hussain had approved the appointment of Supreme Court’s senior judge as acting Chief Justice of Pakistan.
