ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) staged a walkout from the National Assembly on Monday protesting against Opposition Leader Khurshid Shah’s statement made a few days ago that the word ‘mohajir’ (immigrant) is like an abuse. Although MQM members were brought back into the house by Aftab Sheikh but Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) leader Abdul Sattar Bachani’s words infuriated them again. Allegations from both sides created a mess in the house, Speaker had to omit several words too.

MQM’s Parliamentary Leader in the National Assembly Rasheed Godel said that ‘black Englishmen’ have still occupied the country. He said that the migrants had not come to Pakistan without any belongings. He said that the MQM members will not return to the house unless Opposition Leaders apologizes for his statement.

Talking to media after the session, Rasheed Godel said that countries do not get divided by creating new provinces. He said that migration is a Sunnah while Khurshid Shah termed migration as an abuse.
