ECP to suspend membership for not submitting asset details
ECP received details of only 918 members out of 1174 members.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – According to the representatives of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), ECP will issue the notification for suspension of membership of more than 250 parliamentarians who had not yet submitted the details of their assets, today.
ECP has only received the asset details of only 918 members of the senate, national and provincial assemblies out of 1174 members.
101 members of the Senate, 282 of National Assembly, 256 of Punjab, 135 of Sindh, 88 of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) and 56 of Balochistan assemblies have submitted their asset details.
Chief Minister KPK, Pervez Khatak’s membership might get cancelled.
Members of National Assembly (MNA) Asad Umer, Tariq Fazil Chaudhry and Senator Abdul Ghaffar Haideri are also among the members whose asset details are awaited.
