Governor Punjab rejects Javed Hashmi's allegations

EDINBURGH (Dunya News) – The Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar on Sunday rejected Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s defunct president Javed Hashmi’s allegations and said that he hasn’t resigned.

Talking exclusively on Dunya News’ special transmission with host Imran Khan, he said if his meeting with Imran Khan or Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri is proven then he will quit politics.

Sarwar said that he always engaged in politics of principles, adding that he has never become part of a conspiracy.

He said it is so unfortunate that anyone who wishes so can level baseless allegations in Pakistan.

Sarwar said he will reach Pakistan on September 24 and that the rumors about his resignation are baseless. He said he will return to office in Pakistan on September 24.
