Section 144 imposed in Rawalpindi for 48 hours
Government has imposed Section 144 in Rawalpindi district due to security concerns.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – The Government has imposed Section 144 in Rawalpindi district with immediate effect on Thursday night due to security concerns. According to DCO Rawalpindi, Section 144 will remain in force till 48 hours.
Gathering of more than five persons, carrying weapons, use of loud speaker and pillion riding are prohibited under Section 144.
The decision has been taken due to intelligence reports of terrorist threats.
