Flood relief: CM Khatak hands over Rs 100 million cheque to Army Chief

Pervez Khatak commended the efforts of the army for the flood victims.

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif met Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Pervez Khatak at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.

According to the sources General Raheel Sharif and Pervez Khatak discussed the ongoing situation of heavy rainfall, flooding and the losses bore due to the wreckage.

Pervez Khatak commended the efforts of the army and presented a cheque worth Rs 100 million to the army chief for the relief operation carried out for the floods victims.

Chief KP also talked about operation Zarb-e-Azb continued in North Waziristan and discussed the problems suffered by the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
