Terrorist attack failed at PNS Dockyard, Karachi
2 terrorists killed, 4 arrested, says Navy spokesperson
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – A terrorist attack failed today at PNS Dockyard, Karachi according to Navy spokesperson. Spokesperson told that two terrorists were killed in the attack while 4 were arrested. He told that 1 Navy official embraced martyrdom during the operation while 8 others suffered injuries.
According to the statement issued by Navy spokesperson today (Monday), 6 terrorists attacked PNS Dockyard but the Navy officers countered the attack successfully. Exchange of fire continued for several minutes. PNS Dockyard’s equipment remained safe during the attack.
Navy spokesperson also told that the arrested terrorists were handed over to Navy intelligence and the revelations they made allowed the intelligence agencies to raid various places throughout the country and several terrorists were caught. Heavy ammunition was also taken into custody during these raids.
