Shut Khursheed Shah's mouth or things will go too far: Tahirul Qadri
Qadri reiterated his protest will not end until resignations of Sharif brothers.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri on Wednesday warned Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Khursheed Shah, saying that Shah should shut his mouth or things will go too far, Dunya News reported.
Addressing ‘Inqilab March’ participants, he asked who is Khursheed Shah to raise fingers over them being democratic.
Criticizing the parliament’s joint session proceedings, he said a member of the National Assembly (MNA) pronounced Nawaz Sharif as ‘elected president’ saying that “this is the level of their intellect, Nawaz Sharif is elected Prime Minister, not president”.
“But that MNA’s statement was true in its essence because Nawaz Sharif is both Prime Minister and president in a sense that he assumes total control and exerts authority”, he added.
Reiterating ‘Inqilab March’ participants were not behind the attack on Pakistan Television (PTV) building, he said alleged that the attack was carried out by Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) ‘bullies’.
“I solemnly said yesterday we did not attack the PTV, we did not ask anyone to enter the building, we don’t even recognize anyone’s face who entered PTV building”, he said.
“Now to answer who was behind it, I’ll tell you Nawaz, Shahbaz, Ch Nisar, Saad Rafiq, Pervaiz Rasheed and PMLN bullies were behind it…”, he claimed.
“They infiltrated their bullies and the transmission was suspended within minutes… they infiltrated trained Gullu Butts to do that, our Inqilabis don’t have that technical knowledge to shut down transmission.”
