Parliamentarians gave standing ovation to Javed Hashmi.

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - President Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Makhdoom Javed Hashmi arrived in the parliament today (Tuesday) amidst applause of the members.

The hall filled with cheer and parliamentarians gave standing ovation as Javed Hashmi walked in.

Meanwhile, the JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman while addressing the parliament stated that it is a good omen that inauguration of his speech coincides with the arrival of Javed Hashmi.

He said dignity and respect of the parliament has gone up with his Hashmi’s entry.

It may be mentioned here that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) submitted resignations of 34 lawmakers in the National Assembly this month in protest against the government.

Differences emerged between Javed Hashmi and Imran Khan when protestors marched towards the PM House on Sunday, resulting in violent clash with the authorities in which hundreds of protestors sustained injuries.

PTI chairman Imran Khan parted ways with Hashmi after he alleged that Imran Khan decided to march towards the PM House after receiving a message from Sheikh Rasheed and Saifullah Niazi.

PTI refuted all the allegations leveled by Hashmi.
