Army takes charge of Interior Ministry's control room
All stakeholders must engage in meaningful negotiations to resolve conflict:ISPR
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan Army has reportedly taken charge of federal Interior Ministry’s control room, and Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that it is the army’s responsibility to guard the Red Zone, Dunya News reported.
According to ISPR, the military leadership believes that all stakeholders must engage in meaningful negotiations to resolve political conflict. ISPR added that the Red Zone houses buildings that represent the state, and those buildings must not be harmed in any way.
