Country can't afford Martial law at this point: Sirajul Haq

ABBOTTABAD (Dunya News) – Jamaat Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq said that the country cannot afford Martial law at this time, adding that the ‘residents of Rawalpindi’ have the key to resolution of issues, Dunya News reported.
Addressing a rally in Abbottabad, he said that Islamabad’s crisis must be resolved through negotiations.
He claimed Pakistan and its atomic program are threatened at the moment and that the nation has to face conspiracies by staying unified.
Refusing to be part of government’s negotiation committee, he said that this is the time to play the role of a mediator and not to politick.
