Pomi Butt offers himself for arrest
Pomi Butt was accused of planning the clash between PMLN and PTI in Gujranwala today by PTI.
GUJRANWALA: (Dunya News) – Salman aka Pomi Butt, brother of Pakistan Muslim League (N) MPA Imran Khalid Butt from Gujranwala, has decided to offer himself to the Police for arrest. Pomi Butt has arrived at Sabzimandi Police Station, Gujranwala, to offer himself to the Police. He said that he did not plan any such clashes. "In fact I was stopping people from pelting stones at PTI rally", said Pomi Butt. "I have nothing to do with the attack", he added. Pomi Butt said that his name should not be associated with Gullu Butt.
Earlier, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader Jehangir Tareen Khan had said during a press conference in Islamabad today (Friday) that Pomi Butt was the master-planner of the clashes that took place on GT Road near Gujranwala today between PTI and PMLN workers in which 4 PTI workers got injured. Pomi Butt was also accused of attacking Chairman PTI Imran Khan s truck.
Pomi Butt is Imran Khalid Butt’s elder brother who is PMLN’s MPA from Gujranwala. He offered himself for arrest along with his 10 companions in Sabzi Mandi Police Station.
