CM Punjab says Imran Khan has taken biggest U-Turn by rejecting judicial commission offer.

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that there is no provision in the constitution of Pakistan for ‘technocrats government’. In an exclusive interview on Dunya News program Nukta-e-Nazar, Shahbaz Sharif said that by rejecting the judicial commission offer, Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan had taken the biggest U-Turn.

Responding to a question, CM Punjab said that Imran Khan has let the cat out of his bag by demanding a government led by technocrats. He praised President PTI Makhdoom Javed Hashmi for his stance. He said that by distancing himself from ‘Azadi March’, Javed Hashmi has proved that Pakistan Mulsim League (N) stands firm with democracy. He said that Javed Hashmi’s decision was pro-democracy.

Moreover, CM Shahbaz said that Prime Minister had whole-heartedly offered a judicial commission and Imran Khan had announced faith in judicial commission earlier but he took biggest U-Turn of history by rejecting the offer.

CM said that demanding resignation from an elected Prime Minister was unconstitutional. He said that Imran Khan was acting like a ‘stubborn child’. He said that it was important for the civil-military relationship that both sides brace each other with equal warmth. “Civilian and military leaderships should be on same page to solve the national issues”, said CM Punjab.

“I never gave any assurance to anyone regarding Pervez Musharraf”, said Chief Minister. He said that ‘Imran-Qadri alliance’ was to promote anarchy in the country.

CM Shahbaz Sharif’s interview on Dunya TV’s program Nukta-e-Nazar will be aired on 7:03 p.m. tonight.
