Zardari calls Imran Khan to discuss long march
There is no harm in recounting from particular constituencies: Zardari
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – In a telephonic conversation between former president Asif Ali Zardari and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, Zardari while discussing the long march said that the government should accept Khan’s demands for recounting as there is no harm in it.
This phone call was the first official contact between Khan and Zardari since the announcement of long march by PTI. Both leaders had a detailed discussion on the matter at hand.
Zardari said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has been demanding fair and transparent elections since a long time whereas there has been no response from the government in this regards, adding that he has already demanded the recounting from particular election constituencies.
