Punjab Chief Minister paid visit to the victim in Gujrat today.

GUJRAT (Dunya News) – The accused Ghulam Mustafa, who allegedly chopped off the arms of an innocent 10-year-old boy, has been sent on physical remand till August 4.

Chief Minister Punjab paid visit to the victim on Friday and suspended the concerned DSP, SHO and MS for delaying the registration of FIR.

Following the suspension, the FIR was filed under the terrorism acts. Mustafa was brought to the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Gujranwala amid tight security.

Justice Chaudary Imtiaz Ahmad asked the culprit about the reason for committing such a brutal act. To which he responded that it all happened unintentionally and requested for leniency. The judge questioned Mustafa as to how he would have reacted had it been done with his son.

The judge stated that those exhibiting such brutal acts can neither be spared in this world nor in the world hereafter.
On the other hand, CM Punjab visited Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Hospital in Gujrat to empathize with the unfortunate kid and his parents.

Father of Tabassum told CM that Mustafa amputated this son because of a row over Rs 5000. He further grieved that he was forced to purchase the medicine from the market. Hearing this, CM Shabaz Shareef got infuriated and suspended the MS, Dr Tahir Naveed.

CM also expressed displeasure over the delay in the registration of the FIR and demoted DPO Rae Ejaz to OSD and issued the orders of suspension for DSP Usman Chaudary and SHO Shaukat Topa.

Chief Minister announced free medical treatment and education for Tabassum and reassured his parents that strong action will be taken against the culprit.
