Dunya News

PTI chief Imran Khan has planned massive protest against rigging in May 11, 2013 general elections.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Federal Information Minister Pervez Rasheed on Saturday said that there is no threat to the government or democracy.

Talking to Dunya News in Lahore, the minister said that Imran Khan has failed to tackle issues of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He should not level allegations against government, which enjoys full public support.

Pervez Rasheed said Imran Khan has faced defeat in parliamentarian and legal fight. He will remain unsuccessful this time as well.

The minister further said that Imran Khan will pay heavy price for ‘politics of protest’ with the support of Sheikh Rasheed and Tahirul Qadri.

Pervez Rasheed questioned that why PTI chairman is protesting against poll rigging after one year.

It seems that Imran has no other political case, thus, he is not ready to fight his case at parliament’s forum, he added.
