PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Awami National Party’s (ANP) parliamentary leader in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) assembly Sardar Hussain Babik alleged that some women members bring arms in the assembly urging that the action should be taken over the issue, Dunya News reported.
Babik during KP Assembly session claimed that he received a letter from security officials of the assembly alerting that some women members bring arms during the assembly session.
He alleged that some women do not get their purses checked through security, demanding an action against offending women members.
Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) member assembly Nighat Orakzai also confirmed the allegations and said that by refusing to get their purses checked, offending members are violating the sanctity of the house. She said that such women should be checked.
