Weakening army is akin to weakening Pakistan: Pervaiz Elahi
Pervaiz Elahi said that PMLN should not 'replay Supreme Court attack' in national institutions.
LAHORE (Dunya News) -- Pakistan Muslim League Quaid’s (PMLQ) central leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said on Wednesday that weakening Pakistan Army is akin to weakening Pakistan, adding that the whole country is gravely concerned about ‘dangerous propaganda campaign’ against the army, Dunya News reported.
Addressing party leaders and senior workers from his residence, he said that India is benefitting the most out of the propaganda against the army and that the government’s silence over the propaganda is meaningful.
He claimed that the campaign was started through the statements of senior ministers after thorough planning. He said that the anti-army campaigners even ignored the great sacrifices made by Pak Army for the nation.
Pervaiz Elahi said that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) should not replay supreme court attack in national institutions.
He reiterated that anyone who believes in national security and solidarity cannot even think to malign and weaken Pakistan Army.
