"Unless #Musharraf is travelling to a jail cell I couldn't care less" she tweeted.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Aseefa Bhutto Zardari said in a tweet that she couldn’t care less about Musharraf’s travel to Karachi unless the travel is to jail, Dunya News reported.

“Unless #Musharraf is travelling to a jail cell I couldn't care less” the tweet reads.

Commenting on Dunya News’s report about Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif’s statement about government’s steps to eliminate terrorism, Aseefa tweeted:

“Appeasing terrorist does not count as eliminating terrorism RT @dunyanetwork: Govt taking various steps to eliminate terrorism: Shahbaz”

Earlier, Former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf left Islamabad for Karachi for medical treatment.

Two bomb-resistant vehicles and three armored cars escorted Musharraf to the airport.

According to sources, Musharraf will visit Karachi’s PNS Shifa hospital for a medical check-up.

During his stay in Karachi, 70-year-old Musharraf is also expected to meet family, friends and his party All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) office-bearers.

It merits mentioning here that Former president Pervez Musharraf is facing trial for treason under Article 6 for suspending, subverting and abrogating the Constitution, imposing an emergency in the country in November 2007 and detaining judges of the superior courts. The 70-year-old had fallen ill and taken to the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology in Rawalpindi on January 2 as he was being transported under heavy guard to the court.

Lawyers representing the former military ruler have been requesting for Musharraf’s treatment abroad but the government had decided, after thorough consultations that Musharraf’s name will not be removed from national Exit Control List (ECL), which renders him unable to leave the country.
