LONDON (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain said on Friday that government’s continuous silence over extrajudicial murders of party workers is meaningful, Dunya News reported.
Altaf Hussain urged the government to take immediate notice of illegal arrest and extrajudicial killings of party workers.
Condemning the murder of 2 missing party workers Qasim Ali Shah and Mohammad Ali Khan of Qasba Ali Garh area, he said that the extrajudicial murders of workers and supporters are grave violation of human rights.
He said that people and MQM workers are pursuing democratic, constitutional and legal struggle against inhumane cruelties.
Altaf Hussain urged the workers to act with patience and reinforce unity among them.
Earlier, two dead bodies stuffed in sacks were found from MalirNadi near Qayyumabad. The victims were identified as 45-year-old Muhammad Ali Khan and 30-year-old Qasim Ali. The victims were workers of MQM who were kidnapped four months ago.
According to hospital management, both the victims were strangled to death by unknown persons.
It merits mentioning here that MQM has repeatedly warned of countrywide protests against the extrajudicial killings of party workers. MQM members alleged in the past that the law enforcement is acting with bias against the MQM workers.
