Lahore: Killer mother, spouse remanded into police custody
Court has granted 2-day physical remand of Bisma and her husband over killing their children.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The cruel mother, Bisma, has been handed over to police on two-day physical remand along with her husband.
The 23 year old Bisma reportedly strangled her eight-month-old baby boy shortly after dipping her two-year-old daughter to death in a water tub on Wednesday.
Bisma and her husband Sunny Khan were produced in the Model Town Kutchery. The court granted police the couple’s two-day physical remand.
Bisma confessed to killing her two children – 2-year old Manahil and 8-month-old baby boy Yousuf – by strangulating them “because of poverty.”
On the other hand, the investigators raised questions over the claims of poverty when they unveiled high class home, many cars and expensive toys at house of the couple.
According to police, the area residents told that the couple used to fight over domestic issues. Initial reports said the husband was a drug addict while the killer mother used to take sleeping pills to get rid of the mental stress.
Police also revealed that the house where this incident took place is worth 10 million rupees and has a car whose number plate reads “MNA”.
She had also committed suicide some time ago, revealed brother of Bisma’s husband.
