Taliban commander Qari Anees arrested from Swabi interchange
Qari Anees was wanted in different criminal cases while he belonged to Swabi, the police added.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The police have arrested Taliban commander Qari Anees from Islamabad motorway near Swabi interchange on Wednesday.
According to police sources, a search operation was launched on a tip-off regarding the presence of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) commander near Swabi interchange.
Qari Anees was wanted in different criminal cases while he belonged to Swabi, the police added.
The Taliban commander has been shifted to undisclosed location. Investigation is underway.
