ANP leader among eight killed in Karachi violence
Six people were injured in armed clash between rival gang war groups in Lyari.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Awami National Party (ANP) local leader Dr Israr along with four others including a child were killed when some armed men opened firing on their car in Orangi Town MPR Colony. According to police, 9mm pistols were used in the incident.
Meanwhile, a man namely Wazir Ali was shot dead in Site area and two dead bodies stuffed in sacks were found from Link Road near Northern Bypass while the victims could not be identified.
In another incident, two kids injured when a tennis ball bomb exploded on MA Jinnah Road while some unknown people opened firing on a car and injured two persons in Ranchor area.
On the other hand, different localities of Lyari turned into battlefield by exchange of firing between rival gang war groups and hand grenade attacks.
At least six people were injured in firing and grenade attacks in different localities including Klakot, Ali Muhammad Mohalla, Mirza Adam Khan Road and Rangi Wara.
