Karachi CID arrests 3 Al-Qaeda operatives

Presence of Al-Qaeda's organized network in Karachi University has been revealed.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – CID police arrested three Al-Qaeda operatives on Friday from various areas and discovered a factory producing arms, ammunition and explosives in Karachi.
Addressing a press conference, CID Incharge Raja Umar Khattab made a startling revelation that three Al-Qaeda operatives identified as Junaid, Arman and Irfan have been arrested who confessed to operating an organized Al-Qaeda network at Karachi University.
Police has also recovered and captured violent Jihadi literature, arms, ammunition and explosives after raiding various areas of the city, he revealed.
CID also ceased a laboratory of a professor where boys were trained to make explosive circuits.
CID Incharge further revealed that Al-Qaeda has an active militant wing in Karachi in which six to seven suspects are operating who are suspected to be involved in militancy and target killing in the city.
