More than 100 shops gutted in Peshawar market blaze
The fire was brought under control after eight hours.
(Web Desk) - More than a hundred shops caught fire in Peshawar’s Khara Market, Dunya News reported on Saturday.
The blaze which lasted for more than eight hours, however, no human loss or injury was reported in the fire which caused a loss worth millions.
The market situated on Cinema Road consisted of gold shops and fire fighters faced difficulty due to acids and gas cylinders inside the shops.
The locals claimed the fire took place at 3:00am whereas shop owners said that due to lack of timely action they suffered a loss of millions of rupees.
Meanwhile, provincial minister Shaukat Yousafzai has assured every possible assistance to the shop owners.
