JUI-F has been in coalition with almost every government since 1988.

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam Fazal(JUI-F) spokesperson Jan Achakzai, while speaking to Dunya News has said that JUI-F has formally decided to be a part of federal government. In addition to Fazlur Rehman taking position of Chairman Kashmir Committee, JUI-F has also scored two federal ministries as a result of this settlement.
Two leaders from JUI-F; Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri and Akram Durrani are scheduled to take oath for two federal ministries at 11:30 Thursday at President House. According to sources, negotiations between JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif that took place a few days ago were fruitful.
It merits mentioning here that the JUI-F party has a reputation of being “ruler’s ally” as the party has remained a coalition party of almost every government including of PPP through 1988-1990, 1993-1996, 2008-2013.
