Kite string kills minor girl, boy wounded
A 2-year girl was killed by kite twine in Lahore while a young boy was wounded in Sialkot.
LAHORE/SIALKOT (Dunya News) - A two-year-old girl was killed after a sharp kite string cut her neck in Lahore while a young boy wounded in Sialkot on Sunday.
According to officials, the girl, Noor, was deeply wounded by the kite string when she was going with her father on a motorcycle.
She was taken to hospital but could not survive due to excessive bleeding.
Meanwhile, a 20 years old man was severely wounded by sharp kite string which cut his throat in Sialkot.
The wounded man shifted to hospital where his treatment continued.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif took notice of the deadly kite-flying incident and ordered strict action against those who violate ban on kite-flying.
