MQM chief says all ethnic groups should prepare themselves for the tough times.

LONDON (Dunya News) – MQM chief Altaf Hussain has said that fabricated and baseless allegations were being leveled against the MQM workers.

“These acts show that the Sindh government has decided to crush Muhajirs’, he said.

Altaf Hussain said that all accusations against MQM like Jinnah Pur Plan, Muhajir Republican Army and recovery of Indian weapons from the party office, were attempts to malign MQM.

He said that everyone was well informed in this age of technology and could well understand the reality behind such false and baseless allegations.

Meanwhile, coordination committee of the MQM has demanded to replace Additional IGP Karachi Shahid Hayat.
The members of the committee stated that political victimization of the MQM workers was underway and they were being involved in false cases.

There were plans for the extra judicial killings of the MQM workers, the leaders said.

Earlier, the Anti-Terrorism Court sent MQM activist Kazim Abbas Rizvi on 14-day physical remand. Kazim was arrested for his alleged involvement in the murder of Advocate Naimat Ali Randhawa.

On Tuesday, addressing a joint press conference, Additional IG Police Shahid Hayat and spokesman of Rangers revealed that the accused involved in Advocate Naimat Ali Randhawa’s murder had been arrested.

“An accused Kazim Abbas Rizvi, who belongs to MQM, has confessed that he and 7 other persons were involved in murder of eight persons,” police chief said.

AIG claimed that four other criminals linked to the said case have also been arrested and more arrests were expected.

The Rangers spokesman said that political parties were sheltering the criminals.
