LAHORE (Online) - PTI leader Shafqat Mahmood on Monday accused Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) of carrying out election rigging under police supervision.

He said that the sit-in would continue until justice was done.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf supporters continued their protest against alleged massive vote rigging on Monday.

A multitude of young PTI supporters from NA-125 gathered at Ghazi Chowk (Walton) and blocked the main road for all traffic.

The protesters were demanding fresh polls in the said constituencies.

At that occasion, supporters of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N ) also gathered there and demonstrators of both the parties started chanting slogans against each other. Scuffles among the PTI and PML-N supporters were also witnessed at times.

Heavy contingents of security forces reached the venue and baton charged the protesters. PTI fans and supporters said that the sit-in will continue until their demand of fresh polls is not met.

PTI loyalists said that according to early unofficial results, Imran Khan and Hamid Khan from NA-122 and NA-125 respectively leading with a great margin but later ECP declared them as losers.

PTI protestors accused PML-N candidate Malik Pervez of blackjacking the returning officers into manipulating voting results to Saad Rafiqe s favour.

It may also be mentioned that similar protests are also underway in Karachi areas where demonstrators are demanding fair re-elections in Karachi.

A large number of PTI cohorts predominantly women converged at Teen Talwar area of Clifton Sunday evening to register their protest against what they called the most outrageous manipulation of votes in the history of Pakistan.

Chanting slogans against the riggers protestors are demanding of the Election Commission of Pakistan to investigate this “PTI mandate theft” without delay. They added that the protest would continue until the ECP took effective action.
