Election 2013: PPP to unveil candidates today
The PPP will award party tickets to its candidates for the upcoming general elections today.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Addressing a press conference at the Zardari House on Wednesday, Pakistan People s Party (PPP) central leader and sister of President Asif Ali Zardari, Faryal Talpur, said that the tickets for party s candidates will be announced today (Thursday).
She further said that PPP will soon hold big public rallies across the country soon and the party chairman Bilawal Bhutto will also address these rallies.
Faryal Talpur further said that while awarding party tickets the services of the candidates and their sacrifices for the party were kept in mind.
The custodian of Ganj Shakkar shrine Jamal Ahmad Masood Chishti was also present during the press conference and announced unconditional support to the PPP during the upcoming general elections.
Also speaking on the occasion, PPP Punjab President Mian Manzoor Wattoo strongly criticized caretaker Interior Minister Habib Khan for his pro-PML-N statement.
Answering a question regarding seat adjustment with PML-Q, Mian Manzoor Wattoo informed that 95 percent matter on seat adjustment with PML-Q has been finalised.
