PTI's Punjab president turns out to be bank defaulter

PTI's Punjab president Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry has been declared bank defaulter of Rs 34 million.


LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Punjab president Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry had received Rs 34 million as loan from the Bank of Punjab.

 

The banking court had given decision against Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry, his wife and their company on April 10, 2010.


It is worth mentioning that he had appealed to the Lahore High Court for the relief in loans. At this, the LHC granted stay order against the decision of the banking court.


Ijaz Chaudhry’s name lies in the list of the credit information bureau of the central bank and the Election Commission will also use the same list.
