Several PML-N leaders join PPP

A number of leaders belonging to PML-N have joined Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), sources said.

 

ISLAMABAD (Online): According to media reports, former federal minister Syed Tasnim Nawaz Gardezi along with his relatives and friends joined PPP on Wednesday.

 

Those joining PPP hail from Multan‚ Bahawalpur‚ Faisalabad and Sahiwal divisions.

 

Some days back, nine Members of Provincial Assembly (MPAs) of Punjab belonging to Pakistan People s Party (PPP) along with former General Secretary PPP, Punjab Samiullah Khan, called on Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif at Model Town on Friday and announced their joining of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). They expressed their complete confidence in the leadership of PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif.

 

The PPP MPAs, who announced to join PML-N, include Uzma Bukhari, Sardar Kamil Gujjar, Javaid Allauddin Sajid, Nishat Ahmed Khan Daha, Qaiser Iqbal Sindhu, Rana Babar Hussain, Muhammad Jameel Shah, Abbas Zafar Hiraj and Rana Munawar Ghous. On this occasion Shahbaz Sharif announced that two MNAs belonging to PML-Q, Dewan Ashiq Bukhari and Pir Muhammad Aslam Bodla, had also expressed their confidence in the leadership of Nawaz Sharif and joined PML-N.
