PPP, Sunni Ittehad Council form electoral alliance
Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) have formed an electoral alliance.
Pakistan People's Party leaders Qamar Zaman Kaira and Mian Manzoor Watto held a meeting with Sahibzada Fazal Karim and Haji Hanif Tayyab at the central office of Sunni Ittehad Council in Lahore and announced nnounced an election alliance.
After the talks Federal Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira informed that PPP and SIC will participate in the elections under a joint strategy and seat adjustment and a committee, comprising members from both parties, has been constituted.
