Iftikhar Thakur challenges Indian films' exhibition in LHC
Indian films' exhibition lacks rationale on Pakistani authorities part, states plea
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Theatre artist Iftikhar Thakur on Thursday has challenged exhibition of Indian films in Pakistan in the Lahore High Court (LHC).
Advocate Ishtiaq Chaudhry filed the plea in the court. The petition states that India is violating ceasefire treaty by attacks on the Line of Control (LoC) and the Working Boundary while Indian films are being released in the country.
The plea denounces the act saying that there is no sensible approach behind exhibition of Indian films. The plea maintains that India is funding terrorists in the country.
