Bumpy ride for Ali Zafar as Excise Department intercepts him
The actor failed to produce the documents of the car on spot
LAHORE (Web Desk) -- Renowned artist and actor Ali Zafar was cruising along the roads of Defence area with his family when the smooth sailing for the star ended as the officials of Excise Department stopped his vehicle at Lalak Chowk.
The officials, not dazzled by the stardom of the actor who has won accolades for his roles across the border in the recent past, inquired about the documents pertaining to the unregistered vehicle.
The bright-eyed actor who shot to fame with his debut album ‘huqa pani’, failed to produce the documents on spot for which the officials shut down his vehicle and put a damper to his aspirations for the day.
Sensing trouble if he pushed his luck any further, the model turned singer sent for his documents instead of relying on his charms.
Luck did not favor the golden boy as his documents were kept in custody and he was let go with a warning. So much for a good day’s wanderlust out in the city of lights.
