PFA seizes diseased chickens in Lahore's Tollinton Market
The chickens weighing approximately 1000kg were seized by PFA during the raid.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on Friday recovered unhealthy chickens from Tollinton Market, the city’s largest meat bazaar.
The chickens weighed approximately 1000kg whose meat was to be provided in various markets.
PFA has said that the chickens able for treatment will be given medical care or else will be discarded.
The authorities have made it clear that under no circumstances opportunist elements will be allowed to play with the lives of people by providing diseased meat in the market.
