ASF seizes 2kg heroin at Benazir Bhutto International Airport
The suspect had hidden the drugs in a confectionery box.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Airport Security Force (ASF) in Rawalpindi foiled a bid on Friday to smuggle heroin worth million of rupees abroad.
ASF stopped the passenger at Benazir Bhutto International Airport over being suspicious.
During search, security forces recovered 2kg heroin from the man identified as Ali Gohar from Mardan.
The suspect had hidden the drugs in a confectionery box and was trying to smuggle it to Doha by private airline flight QR-633.
The suspect was handed over to Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) later.
