Karachi: Dacoits loot Rs. 7 million during bank robbery
Police took bank's security guard into custody and have started a hunt for the suspects.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Armed dacoits Tuesday looted Rs. 7 million during a private bank robbery in Korangi Number 2 area of Karachi. Dunya News has obtained the CCTV footage of the incident.
The CCTV footage clearly shows 7 armed suspects entering easily into the bank. The perpetrators then proceeded to snatch the weapon from the security guard, after which they took employees and citizens present in the bank as hostage.
The dacoits looted Rs. 7 million from the cash counter, without any apparent problem, after which they fled the crime scene.
Police say that the bank’s administration had not implemented adequate measures for the security of the bank.
Police have taken the security guard into custody and started a hunt for the suspects with the help of the CCTV camera footage.
