45-year-old man beaten to death in Rawalpindi
A man adorning police uniform also threatened the victim with gun, says Zaheer's sister.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Another incident of brutal violence against humanity observed in Rawalpindi when some unknown persons killed a 45-year-old man near Adiala Jail Road today (Thursday).
The incident took place when the deceased Zaheer was stopped by unidentified miscreants who not only broke the victim’s car but also beaten him up to the death.
After receiving call from Zaheer’s family, police personnel arrived at the scene and shifted the body to district headquarters hospital.
The sister of slain Zaheer told the investigation officer that her brother had minor verbal arguments with society’s guard and few others while a man adorning police uniform also threatened the victim with gun.
Zaheer came to Rawalpindi from Azad Kashmir and was a travel agent here.
Moreover, police officers have launched an investigation into the matter.
