LONDON (AFP) – The Oval in south London will become just the fourth ground in world cricket to stage its 100th Test when England face South Africa in the third of a four-match series on Thursday.

It was at The Oval where the first Test in England took place in 1880 and it now joins fellow London venue Lord’s and Australia’s Melbourne and Sydney Cricket Grounds in bringing up a century of Test matches.
