Chairman of Afghanistan cricket authority visited Lahore today

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Shahryar Khan has announced on Saturday that green shirts would play Afghanistan for two Twenty20 International matches.

The announcement was made after Chairman of Afghanistan cricket authority visited Lahore and toured Qaddafi International Stadium besides PCB chief.

In a meeting convened by the two representatives, promotion of cricket ties between the two states was agreed upon. Reportedly, a T20I will be played in Pakistan and the other in Afghanistan.

While addressing the media, PCB chief also said that the two sides would play a series which could be organised in United Arab Emirates (UAE), Afghanistan or Pakistan.

On the occasion, Shahryar Khan announced to give a stadium to Afghanistan for practice as a goodwill gesture.

Regional teams of the two sides would also play soon, he added.
