BCCI writes letter to govt to play series with Pakistan
According to Indian media, BCCI is ready to play series against Pakistan in November.
MUMBAI (Dunya News) – Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has ployed to escape from fine after Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) warning by writing a letter to Indian government to play series against Pakistan, reported Dunya News on Wednesday.
According to The Indian Express, their board is ready to play series against Pakistan in Dubai this November, and it requires its government’s permission for that.
It is pertinent here to mention that BCCI had signed MoU with PCB to play six bilateral series in return for Pakistan’s support to Big Three. PCB fulfilled its promise afterwards but BCCI did not complete its commitment.
Owing to BCCI’s continuous disinterest, PCB chief Shahryar Khan announced to take BCCI to court for not playing the bilateral series.

Shahryar Khan had explained that PCB is suffering a loss of $100 million per series which is not bearable. The chairman said that PCB intends to go to court for compensation of this damage as there are no chances of series against India this year as well.
BCCI’s letter to Indian government after PCB chief’s warning is apparently looking just a trick to get rid of fine that it can possibly suffer from for not playing the series.
