The Pakistani pacer clarified on reports of being stopped at Heathrow Airport

LONDON (Dunya News) – Mohammad Amir denies reports of being briefly detained at Heathrow Airport. It was earlier reported that the Pakistani pacer was stopped for some time upon arrival in London.

Amir shared a post on Twitter saying, “Hey guys all this news about me being stop or sumthing in london is ALL FALSE im happily home take care n stay happy.”

The fast-bowler even got angry at another tweet and suggested the user to ‘use something else to become famous’. Amir stated that he arrived home safe and that no detention was experienced by him. However, reports claim otherwise.

The airport officials in London had stopped Amir for a few questions. Owing to the ongoing PSL fixing probe, the immigration officials seem to be curious of any misconduct.

Reportedly, Pakistan cricket team had left here for West Indies where it will play a series Twenty20, ODIs and Tests. Sarfraz Ahmed will lead the T20 and ODI sides. It must be noted here that British police had yesterday shot a suspected attacker outside the Houses of Parliament in London after an officer was stabbed in "terrorist" incident.
