Sarfraz scores 2nd ODI ton as Pakistan stable against England

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first against England.

LONDON (Dunya News / AFP) - Pakistan have lost fifth wicket against England in second one-day international at Lord’s on Saturday.

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first. At the end of the 42nd over, the Men in Green were 198 for 5.

Sami Aslam was sent back to pavilion after scoring only 1 run while Sharjeel Khan and ODI captain Azhar Ali gone for a duck. Babar Azam only made 30 scores and left the pitch.

MA Wood has taken two wickets along with Chris Woakes whereas LE Plunketttook took 1 wicket.

Sarfraz Ahmad, Pakistan s wicket keeper-batsman, has played a responsible innings and has been able to keep the score board ticking and was able to score his career s second hundred. He was batting along with Imad Wasim.

England were unchanged from the side that won the rain-affected first ODI by 44 runs on the Duckworth/Lewis method at Southampton on Wednesday.

Pakistan, however, made three changes.

Sami Aslam, as he did in Pakistan’s preceding 2-2 drawn Test series with England, replaced Mohammad Hafeez, with the top-order batsman now struggling with a knee injury.

Meanwhile leg-spinner Yasir Shah, one of the stars of Pakistan’s rise to number one in the Test rankings, came in for Mohammad Nawaz while Hasan Ali took over from fellow paceman Umar Gul.
