ICC lifts ban on Muhammad Asif, Salman Butt

LAHORE (Dunya News) – International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced lifting of ban on cricketers Muhammad Asif and Salman Butt who were involved in the spot-fixing saga of 2010, reported Dunya News.

ICC announced a relaxation in the term of the bans of the banned players, reducing it by 5 years. Following the relaxation, both players will be eligible to play in domestic and international circuit by September 2.
