Najam Sethi appointed as new ICC President

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has nominated Najam Sethi for the presidentship of International Cricket Council (ICC) on Thursday.
Najam Sethi would take oath for ICC president on November 15 and would hold the position for a year.
ICC President is a ceremonial status and Sethi would not hold any status in PCB.
A committee headed by Shahryar Khan and Iqbal Qasim have nominated Najam Sethi’s name for the post. Sethi’s name had already been approved by the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
