A woman killed upon resisting dacoity attempt.

A woman was killed while resisting a dacoity attempt in Factory area of Lahore. Police arrived after two hours of the incident.50-year-old resident of Itehad Park Khurshhed, a kidney patient, was at home with her daughter-in-law Shahnaz and 4-year-old grandson Umair.According to shahnaz, three dacoits entered into house in guise of tenants’ guests and looted 4-tola gold and Rs. 25,000.On resistance, the dacoits strangled Khurshhed to death while Shahnaz and Umair were injured by them.According to police, Khursheed’s husband Contractor Aslam got married to another woman namely Kausar and they were also residing in the same area in adjacent house. The police shifted the dead body to mortuary.
