Paraguay beat Brazil to win the first-ever Footvolley championship in Rio de Janeiro.

The Footvolley tournament was being held at the Ipanema beach in Rio de Janeiro in which squads from Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, Argentina, Paraguay and two from Brazil were among those battling for the title.In the final of the tournament, the underdogs, Paraguay beat the favourites, Brazil to win the tournament. Thousands of people gathered on the last day to support their teams in the final.The spectator sport, Footvolley is a combination of football and volleyball.
